I stayed home for years with each of my boys, cause I couldn't handle the car seats. Cool tool. I agree they can't have till stopped. My kids would see my OT adapt things at home to get me in childproof locks and then try to do it themselves. I was always hiding those tools. Thanks again for all your advice and info. I can't even imagine having options, much less safe ones. So awesome to hear there are some. My son's girlfriend is starting to have arthritis problems. So very happy she could have options I never had in her future. I was so blessed to go in remission with both of mine. Breastfeeding extended that remission till they were about 6 months old. Then hell returned, worst then ever. My first born, I really pushed to keep nursing, till I had the worst flare ever. It took forever to calm down. No biologics back then. Methotrexate wasn't even used, until he was a year old. Dosing very different and about killed me. At age 2, he fed me, did my range of motion and took care of me. I didn't push and nurse as long with number 2. Was so sad to stop at 2 months, but I needed back on my meds to stop coming flare. It worked. I had a much easier time with number 2 kid. You are such an inspiration. I see others told, like I was first told, you can never have kids. I didn't listen and was blessed with 2 healthy kids after changing doctors. I send people to your site now. Thanks for all you do. You've got this, just take care of yourself. Give those sweet babies kisses. Have a very blessed week!Nancy Pnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8512094385883127902.post-1276527301963278032018-04-06T20:57:06.673-06:002018-04-06T20:57:06.673-06:00Mariah, I am so sorry you are having a tough time....Mariah, I am so sorry you are having a tough time. There were alot of nights for me that I wasn't sure I would in the end I'm so blessed that I have Bryn. I have fibromalgia, ...Hi, I really like your post. I have fibromalgia, and have had 2 knee replacements. In physical therapy, they had me read this notebook they put together about real pain vs perceived pain. I was not a happy camper when I read this book. While I was reading it, I had the feeling that I was looked upon as someone who was making up the pain I was experiencing. I guess I just wanted to say thank you for arguing both sides of this abstract thinking regarding pain. Everyone's pain cannot be quantified. People who have a chronic illness, such as RA, fibromalgia, etc have good days and bad days. Nothing makes me feel angrier than being told it's all in my head.
