Excruciating

My hip pain has been excruciating lately. It doesn't seem to matter what position I am in or what temperature I am. I've been eating anti-inflammatory pills like candy to no avail. Even vicodin doesn't even seem to take the edge off.

I have no idea what to do next.

    (((HUGS))) Horrible pain is terrible. Get into an orthopedic doctor that specializes in hips if you haven't already.

    Ugh, sorry you're in so much pain. My hip has been bothering me a lot lately but luckily my rheumy gave me a cortisone shot and it actually did help and took the edge off the pain. I hope you find something that works for you.

    Thanks, everyone. I finally gave in and called my rheuamtologist this morning - I'll see him on Monday and we'll see what he says.
