It has always struck me as odd that a fundraising walk would be the main fundraiser for arthritis, since walking is often so difficult for people with arthritis to do. It doesn't matter which flavor of arthritis we have, either--I don't know about you, but I sometimes have trouble walking from the kitchen to the living room!
A 3km walk is a daunting challenge. I'd be more apt to participate in a fundraiser that respected my limitations.
