Sunscreen Fail

You’re probably getting tired of hearing me say this (trust me, I’m getting tired of saying it) but I’ve got another rash all over my body. Little red dots everywhere.

This time it’s on my thighs, on my back, and in my cleavage. APL and I think it might be from a spray sun screen I used a couple of times over the last few days, as the rash is basically appearing everywhere that I got sprayed. On the one hand, I guess it’s useful to know where the rash may have come from. On the other hand, I still haven’t got the hang of my body being sensitive to anything and everything. I mean, I put on sunscreen to be responsible and protect my body, but now the thing I used to protect myself is attacking me? Sucks. A lot.

I'm allergic to salt water - literally. Whenever I sweat too much, or get in the ocean, I break out in hives all over my neck/stomach/chest. Quite possibly the LAMEST allergy ever - esp. when I'm a (slow) marathoner and in love with the ocean.
Maybe try Aveeno's sunscreen? Their regular skin stuff is usually pretty good to my delicate-snowflake (sarcasm) skin. Another option I would suggest would be using baby products. I use nighttime baby lotion regularly, especially now since I'm too anxious to sleep. The lavender scent is nice, and it keeps my skin happy.

Yeah - APL likes the Aveeno stuff and maybe trying some sensitive skin stuff would be good. The frustrating part is that the sunscreen I used the other day is the sport banana boat kind (comes in the orange container) that I LITERALLY used to bathe in nine times a day when I was a lifeguard and played water polo. And now my skin is sensitive to it?!? Sucks. Although we're still not positive that's what the rash is from anyways. Compromised immune system sucks!
